GBRC TINY TASTES = BIG CALORIES AT HOLIDAY TIMEThe Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled, “Tiny Tastes = Big Calories at Holiday Time” on Thursday, November 29th from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the Great Bend Recreation Activity Center (2715 18th). In the midst of the holiday season, we are tempted by many high calorie snacks and beverages. Join us through an imaginary day and tallies of the calories for “just one bite” Not only will this educational program raise your awareness, you will also learn how to modify recipes to make them healthier. Linda Beech, Ellis County FCS Agent, will be the presenter for this program.
