Microsoft Word is likely the most utilized word processing software ever. Barton Community College’s Silver Cougar Club is offering a chance to learn all about it with a course scheduled for 1-4 p.m. on Wednesdays, September 5 through October 10 at the Great Bend One Stop Center, 1025 Main St. in room D-107.Barton’s Technical Support System Administrator Rich Unrein will teach the class, and it will cover basic functions such as creating, editing, managing, merging and printing documents. There will also be instruction on printing labels and envelopes. Enrollment is limited to 12. Cost for the course is $30 for Silver Cougar Club members and $87 for non-members.
