The Roger Richter Memorial Wrestling Tournament will take place on Saturday, January 5th in the gymnasium and Panther Athletic Center facilities at Great Bend High School, 2027 Morton in Great Bend, Kansas. The growing tournament is expected to draw approximately 800 wrestlers from all over the state to compete in the all-day event. Students ages 4-14 will be traveling to Great Bend, staying in our hotels, and eating in our restaurants during their visit. The tournament memorializes Roger Richter, who was the director of the kids wrestling program for many years.Businesses, restaurants, and hotels are asked to welcome these wrestlers to town however possible.
