In March 2009, renovations had just begun on a dilapidated storage area in the Sunflower Center. That unusable space has now been transformed into a state-of-the-art, contemporary meeting space, thanks to the generous donations of the Spray-Holt families.
The new meeting space features table seating for up to 40 people, and conference seating for up to 50 people. Its outside entrance makes it perfect for after hours training sessions and dinner meetings. An enormous, 54” flat screen television offers digital projection of powerpoint presentations, picture slide shows, or other online materials.
Additional amenities include a buffet style serving area, private telephone for conference calls, ample parking space in a free lot, nearby kitchenette, and climate control.
As a service to the organizations in the Great Bend community, the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development would like to announce that this modern meeting space is now available for rent. The following rental fees include the use of digital video equipment, a buffet style serving area, private telephone for conference calls, nearby kitchenette, free parking in city lots, and climate control. Food and drinks are not provided, and there is an additional $20 fee if the key to the meeting room is not returned.
